What a fantastic and exciting start to 2012 it has been at Funky Lunch HQ!
Haven Holidays approached us and called upon our expertise to produce a lunch time activity for its Fun Stars children’s club, to help them get creative with food.
Working alongside family favourite Kingsmill, who are co-sponsoring these clubs, holidaymakers will be able to experience this fantastic edible activity at 34 Haven parks across England, Scotland and Wales.
As all Haven parks are by the seaside we thought it would be fun for the kids to make some of the things they see around them. So we set about creating a postcard scene of sandwiches. We’ve got some great ideas to kick start their imagination with things like an ice cream sandwich, a kite, a sun, a bucket and spade and even a boat!
The activity club really is an amazing interactive session that will include designing and making their own Funky Lunch style sandwich using a variety of fresh ingredients including salad vegetables. The kids will also create some funky music using food and instruments from the kitchen!
